Asko Künnap (born 6 September 1971) is an Estonian poet, artist, graphic designer and marketer. In 2012, the Government of the Republic of Estonia announced a competition to create a uniform logo to be used for all state institutions. A total of approximately 70 different logos were in use previously. The competition jury recommended the use of Künnap's concept design, "Prima Facie".〔(Valitsusasutuste ühtse kujundusega logo ideekavandi konkursi hindamiskomisjoni II nõupidamine ). Estonian Government Office Protocol〕 The implementation of Künnap's logo has, however, been delayed due to it conflicting with a 1925 law that stipulates depictions of Estonia's coat of arms. The design submitted by Künnap is based namely on the coat of arms.〔(Riigiasutuste ühtse logo kasutusele võtmist takistab ammune seadus ) Eesti Rahvusringhääling〕〔(Asko Künnap: Mõtlemisvõime restart. His "The Man Who Spoke Snakish" ((エストニア語:Mees, kes teadis ussisõnu)) is based upon a novel of same name by Estonian author Andres Kivirähk: according to Künnap, the game is designed to be playable in an hour's time, but offer new, exciting developments every time it is played again.〔(Kivirähk ja Künnap esitlesid ussisõnu tundva mehe lauamängu ) Eesti Päevaleht〕 The deck of poetry cards "Deck of Cards II", published by Face Church and designed by Künnap, was chosen as one of Estonia's best-looking books in 2006.〔"Kes? Mis? Kus?" 2008, lk. 353〕 Künnap was selected as a board member of the Estonian PEN upon its re-opening on 3 February 2010.〔(Kroonikat ).
